IMPORTANT PATIENT INFORMATION

Our computer system is changing week beginning Monday 23rd March 2026. Unfortunately this will cause significant disruptions as access to our patients’ clinical records will be unavailable at this time. In order to continue to provide safe, effective care we will only be providing limited and emergency care during this period. We hope you understand and can cooperate during this transition, which is out of our control.

APPOINTMENTS

From 20TH MARCH to 3RD APRIL we can offer URGENT MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS ONLY.

During this period our treatment room will also have reduced capacity and will not be able to facilitate routine or hospital bloods.

PRESCRIPTIONS

Our repeat ordering phone line will close from 20TH MARCH TO 27TH MARCH (RE-OPENING ON 30TH MARCH).

During this period you will still be able to order your repeat medication online at www.rossairfamilypractice.co.uk or in person using the repeat postbox. If you are due a repeat prescription in March we would ask that you order now. It may not be possible to meet the 48 hour prescription collection.

Please speak to your pharmacist in the first instance if you have run out of any medication.

TEST RESULTS

Routine test results will be unavailable at this time but be assured that we will contact you if needed, regarding any results that need followed up.

NEW PATIENTS

We will be unable to accept new patients (exception new babies) from 23/2/26 – 20/04/2026.

KEEP UPDATED

Please keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram, as we will keep you updated as much as possible while the changeover is happening.

This scheme provides an option for eligible patients to access private treatment in the Republic of Ireland and the wider European Union. Eligible patients will be reimbursed up to the equivalent cost of the treatment, if carried out within the Health and Social Care (HSC) system in Northern Ireland.
